Zara is a blue ticked tabby and has that classic fierce gaze, boxy muzzle, long ear tufts and a wild mane in the winter. And she’s big(17 pounds!), something that her kittens also seem to inherit. 

Fun fact: I called her mama during her first litter because we very much co-raised that litter (with me doing most of the work) and now she thinks her name is mama because it’s the only thing she will respond to.
